Description

Virgo is a great constellation to look for interesting galaxies.

The heart shaped Galaxies (NGC4567 & 4568) are 60 million light years away, and they're actually colliding and merging (in a very slow pace from our point of view).

The fabulous loner galaxy M58 is even further away from us - 68 million light years. It's the brightest galaxy in Virgo, and it was arguably the most remote object when first discovered by Charles Messier in 1779.
